WH Chamber holds ribbon cuttings
The Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening for Waterton Plaza at Shiloh on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 5:15 p.m. and a ribbon cutting for Pro One Automotive RV and off-road sales and service on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 5:15 p.m.
Yoga class Monday
Yoga class meets each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the youth wing of First Baptist Church of Whitehouse. There is no fee for the class. Bring your own yoga mat, towel and bottle of water. There is no child care available at this time.

Mt. Carmel begins 40 Days of CommunityMt. Carmel Baptist Church begins the "40 Days of Community" on Sunday, Sept. 7. This program moves people from focusing on God's purposes in their personal lives to focusing on God's purposes in their church and community. For information on this event call 903-839-2606.
Moms in Touch

WHS UIL BBQ dinner on TuesdayThe WHS UIL Academic Team invites the community to a very special evening honoring and highlighting some of the school's best and brightest students. Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. the team will host their first ever Academic Team Showcase and dinner. Tickets for the event are $10/plate or $25/families of 3 or more. Government Activities
Town Center meetings continueWhitehouse community members are urged to attend a Town Hall type meeting Monday, Sept 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 311 E. Main. The purpose of this meeting is to gain information and offer constructive input to the Town Center plan as well as zoning ordinance revisions being considered.
Troup City Council to meet
The regular monthly meeting of the Troup City Council is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16. The meeting will be held at the Troup ISD Administration Office at 201 N. Carolina.
