Austin Bank recently honored Janice Voigt, a teller and part-time customer ser vice representative in Troup, at its 2008 Service Award Luncheon. Voigt was recognized for five years of ser vice. She was among 36 bank employees feted for outstanding service and longevity on the job at a luncheon held Dec.4 4 at Cascades Club in Tyler. More ... Curran, the executive director of Therapet is a registered occupational therapist. More ... The Whitehouse Community Library held its annual Hayride with Santa Dec. 20. This year's hayride was a wonderful success with more participants than ever. The children visited and had their picture made with Santa, then they caroled through the neighborhoods on the way to Oak Brook Health Care Center. Upon arrival the children and their parents began caroling and delivering books and candy canes to the residents. On the return to the Library, cookies and hot chocolate or apple cider were waiting.
