Robert Clinton Jones
Services for Robert Clinton Jones, 51, of Whitehouse were held Jan. 2 at Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup, with the Rev. Mike Cline officiating.

Mr. Jones died Dec. 27, 2007 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 9, 1956 in Mount Airy, N.C., to Clinton Robert and Elizabeth Fay Hitt Jones. He was a retired auto parts salesman, and lived in Whitehouse for 18 years.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Fay Jones, Whitehouse; daughter, Crystal Dalton, Virginia; mother, Elizabeth Chaney, Mount Airy, N.C.; brothers, Gene Jones and Kerry Jones, both of Mount Airy, N.C., and Junior Lafferty, West Virginia; sisters, Martha Bennett, Mount Airy, N.C., Gail Platt and Patricia Hooten, both of West Virginia; two grandchildren; aunts, uncles and cousins.
