Quilter's Guild meeting set

The Quilters' Guild of East Texas meets on the second Thursday of each month at Pollard United Methodist Church. Fellowship starts with coffee and goodies at 9:30 a.m. Night meetings are also held on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at Pollard United Methodist Church.

Troup American Legion Auxillary to meet

Troup American Legion Auxillary will meet Thursday, Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. at the legion hall.

Henry Marsh Bell Masonic Lodge meeting

Henry Marsh Bell Masonic Lodge #1371 will meet Monday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. at the lodge hall. All Masonic Brothers are welcome to attend.

Vietnam Vets meet

Whitehouse library activities

WH Recycle Center is open

The Whitehouse Recycle Center has reopened. Regular hours of operation are on Wednesdays 7-10 a.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. as well as the first and third Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. Bring your recyclable paper, newspaper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum cans and tin cans. The Recycle Center is located on Railroad Ave.

VFW Post 1799 open daily

VFW Post 1799 on Rhone Quarter Road opens daily at 2:30 p.m. for members and guests. Each day offers a different activity such as competitive pool, karaoke and social hour. For information visit WWW.vfw1799.org or call 903-561-3501.
