Mitch Marquis (12 points) and Kody Molloy (10 points) also finished in double figures for the Wildcats, who travel to Henderson on Friday.

Caroline Perrier melted the nets with five 3-pointers, as the Whitehouse LadyCats defeated Hallsville.

Perrier finished with 17 points and Kayla Mason added 12 for Whitehouse.

Timpson 45

Troup broke a multi-game losing streak with a big road win over Timpson Tuesday.

Four Tigers scored in double digits as Troup jumped out to a 29-7 first-quarter lead and never looked back.

Der'Rick Thompson led the way with 17 points, followed by Cody Lepelley with 16, Reginald Wade 14 and Jeremy Richardson 10.

Nick Reeves added 7, followed by Jake Johnson 6 and Tee Franklin 5.

Troup improves its district record to 1-3 and 3-18 on the year.

The Tigers will host Garrison Friday at 7:30 p.m.
