Lois P. Herring

Graveside services for Lois P. Herring, 84, of Troup were held Jan. 11 at Moody Cemetery, Moody, under direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Mrs. Herring died Jan. 8, 2008 at her residence.

She was born March 24, 1923 in Blooming Grove to the late Horton and Jettie Edwards Yarbrough. She worked at Trac Ornamental Iron in Tyler prior to retirement, and lived in Troup for more than 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Emmitt Billman and Aubrey Herring, and a brother, Ed Yarbrough.

Survivors include son, Charles Billman, Magnolia; daughter, Linda Hubbard, Cypress; one granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
