WH girls take part in PT tourney

The varsity Ladycats claimed third place in their first tournament outing at Pine Tree. The hosts won first place, with Longview finishing second.

Ladycats win against

Caddo Magnet

Whitehouse Ladies kicked off to the Caddo Magnet Ladies at the Longview City soccer fields. Caddo Magnet had 7 shots on goal to Whitehouse's 7, but Whitehouse had one goal that scored. Lindsay Pritchard scored late in the first half with an assist by Kelli Hill.

The second half started with more scores by Whitehouse with Hill scoring on a penalty kick. Caddo answered back with Alyssa Walsh scoring with an assist by Hanna Tomson.

The final score came cour- tesy another goal by Pritchard, with an assist by Ashlee Langley.

The hat trick was taken by Pritchard with her third goal of the game coming from an assist from Elyssa Parker. The defense, led by Brittany Millican, held the line to keep Caddo Magnet from scoring further and sealing the Whitehouse win, 3-1.

Winning continues

Whitehouse kicked off to the Jacksonville Ladies in an early morning opener on Friday.

Thirteen minutes into the game, Parker found the back of the Jacksonville net; Kayla Melton assisted in the goal.

Langley passed the ball to Pritchard for the second score of the game.

Pritchard finished off the first half with her second score of the game, assisted by Heather Lofties, to lead Jacksonville 3-0.

Hill started off the second half scoring with 12 minutes off the clock, assisted by Brittany Gonzales.

The second score of the half was made by Parker who was assisted by Lofties.

The Ladycats won the game 5-0.

Ladycats fall to PT

Whitehouse met the Pine Tree Lady Pirates Friday afternoon in the Pine Tree stadium.

Mallory Smith scored the only goal of the first half with the assist by Gonzales.

The second half was dominated by the Ladycats but they could not find the back of the net for a goal. Pine Tree had much better luck with four goals in the second half, making the final score 4-1 and handing the Ladycats their first loss.

Ladycats take 3rd

The Ladycats came out strong against Lindale and were hungry for a win. Pritchard scored, assisted by Lofties, with 19 minutes left in the first half with a breakaway.

She scored again seven minutes later with an assist by Elise Dollahite to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead at the half.

The second half was dominated by the Ladycats thanks to the strong defensive line held by Millican, Langley, Cassandra Canova, Jamie Peace and Dollahite.

On the offensive side, Parker got her second goal of the game in the first 13 minutes with an assist by Gonzales.

With the third place victory, the Ladycats improved to 3-1 on the young season as they prepared to open district Tuesday with a home match against Marshall.
