The Wildcat JV boys basketball team remained unbeaten in district play last week as they picked up a home win over Hallsville before a blow out victory on the road at Henderson.
The Hallsville nail-biter featured a fourth-quarter rally and was spear-headed by a balanced scoring attack led by Justin Keller and Skip Caldwell with 10 points each and Judd Jackson with 8 points.
The Wildcats faced a fivepoint deficit with less than three minutes remaining before the late rally to pull out the 38-36 win.
The Wildcats found things a little easier on the road Friday at Henderson as they built a commanding 40-17 lead at the half on their way to a 64-47 win to move to 5-0 in district play.
Jackson had the hot hand for the Cats and led the team in scoring with 19, while Drew Flynn poured in 10 and Jace Ainsworth and Justin Keller added 7 points each.
