Seventh-graders place 2nd in tourney

The Tiger seventh grade boys team finished second in the Troup junior high tournament, held last Saturday.

Rusk won the seventh grade division with T.K. Gorman and Brook Hill rounding out the top four.

The eighth-grade team finished fourth behind first place Brook Hill, T.K. Gorman and Rusk.

Prior to the junior high tournament, a combined seventh and eighth grade team downed Garrison, 30-16, on Jan. 10.

Eighth-grader Carson Clark led the scoring with 14 points, followed by seventh-grader Hunter Clark with 8.

The boys travel to Elysian Fields today with a 5 p.m. start.
