Attaway leads District 12-4A

Fourteen Wildcats earned a spot on the District 12-4A All District team, with junior quarterback Brady Attaway receiving MVP honors.

Attaway completed 248 of 403 pass attempts for 3,127 yards. He three 39 touchdown completions and averaged 260 yards per game, with a longest pass of 68 yards.

His prime target, senior receiver Bart Henderson, also racked up impressive numbers with 72 catches, 1,079 yards and 15 TDs.

Both set school records in all categories.

Joining Henderson on the first team are inside linebacker Taylor Sulser, safety Steven Hicks, defensive end Julian Broaddus and outside linebacker Cody Brown.

Freshman Quincy Aldridge was named Defensive Newcomer of the Year.

Receiving honorable mention status were receiver Asher Williams, of fensive tackle Nathan Brown, center Matt Struble, defensive tackle Zach Hill, outside linebacker Seth Cashion and safety Ace Estrella.

All State Academic

In addition to its All State selections, the Associated Press also released Academic All State nods. Six Wildcats were honored in this cateogory.

Ben Edwards, Matthew Ponce, Corbin Seliga and Taylor Sulser were named to the second team, while Jon Harvell and Logan Thompson received honorable mention status.
