      Playing on Saturday after Friday's bad weather, the Wildcats were unable to score against Kilgore, giving up three first half goals. They were able to come out in the second half and put together some opportunities and hold Kilgore from scoring.

      Lady Cats blanks Kilgore The Whitehouse girls soccer program continued its winning tradition with district wins over Kilgore and Pine Tree. The Ladycat varsity moves to 3-0 and 6-1 on the season. Whitehouse blanked Kilgore 4-0 on Friday night in inclement weather.

      The Ladycats rebounded from a loss to Nacogdoches on Friday to defeat Kilgore at home Tuesday night. Nacogdoches overcame a rough third quarter to narrowly clip Whitehouse, 52-49. Alicia Cordova surpassed her scoring averge of 13.4 to rack up 20 points in the loss.

Middle school girls sweep Elysian Fields
      The middle school Lady Tigers swept Elysian Fields at home last Thursday. The seventh-graders (6-2) won 23-16, and the eighth grade team (5-3) dominated 45-8. Wykina Caldwell led the seventh grade victor y with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Charisma McCowin added 3 points, 5 boards and 5 steals.

      The Lady Tiger junior varsity team split games with Garrison and Arp recently. Troup defeated Garrison 29-12 and then fell to Arp 27-21.

West Rusk defeats Tigers
      Troup suffered a big loss to West Rusk Tuesday. After falling behind by 10 in the first quarter, the Tigers could not recovere and fell 79- 45 to the Raiders. West Rusk kept up the pressure in the second quarter, pouring in 24 points to Troup's 14 to take a 42-22 lead at the half.
