Estalene Lancaster Singley Stratton

Estalene Lancaster Singley Stratton, 90, of Tyler died Jan. 17, 2008 in Tyler.

Graveside services were held Jan. 19 in Holly Springs Cemetery with Brother Lou Gary Thomas officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Mrs. Stratton was born Aug. 24, 1917 in Martins Mill. She was the youngest of 11 children born to James Anderson and Lenora McWilliams Lancaster. She worked for many years for the New York Store on the square in Tyler in the fabric center. She was a member of Lanes Chapel United Methodist Church in Tyler.

Survivors include daughters, Marilyn George and husband Dan of Jacksonville and Dana Nelson and husband Merle of Mesquite; son, Ronny Singley and wife Sara of Whitehouse; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
