Hanks Center thanks friends at FBC

An appreciation luncheon was held at the Hanks Senior Citizen Center Saturday. Forty area seniors and members of the First Baptist Church of Whitehouse attended. Homemade chili, all the trimmings and desserts were served.

This luncheon was to thank a special group of people from the church who took care of the flower beds at the center last summer and fall.

The center sends a special thanks to Jo Shirey, Betty Boulter, Al and Iva Sexton, Don and Lana Branam, Jonnie Canfield, Mozelle Harder, Dorothy McClain, Fran Franklin and Sybil Arnold.
