JV girls split district games

The Lady Tiger junior varsity team split games with Garrison and Arp recently. Troup defeated Garrison 29-12 and then fell to Arp 27-21.

In the win over the Lady Bulldogs, Jenna Johnson led Troup with 8 points, followed by Mari Salinas with 7 and LaTerrian Jimison with 5.

Other scorers were Angela Frieda with 3 and Taryn Dyess, Haylee Marshall and Allyson Wilson with 2 each.

Dyess poured in 10 points in the loss to Arp. Other scorers were Salinas with 6, Johnson 4 and Marhsall 1.
