Siren test set Feb. 5

The City of Whitehouse will test the outdoor warning system Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m.

"The system will be tested on the first Tuesday of each month at the same time, weather permitting," City Manager Ronny Fite said. "The upcoming test will be a full cycle of each warning sound (tornado, disaster, all clear) due to the fact we have had some reprogramming done since installation."

Following that test will be abbreviated by doing short cycles of each warning tone.
