Marvin "Buddy" Todd

FLINT - Services for Marvin "Buddy" Todd, 71, of Flint were held Jan. 25 at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors chapel, Tyler, with Neal Thurman officiating.

Burial was in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery.

Mr. Todd died Jan. 22, 2008 in Tyler.

He was born May 17, 1936 in Tyler to the late Marvin and Mattie Morris Todd and was a lifelong resident. He retired from the Postal Service after 41 years and was a member of the University Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by stepson, Dwayne Weaver.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Glenda Todd, Flint; sons, Wayne Todd, Joe Todd, John Todd and Dan Todd, all of Whitehouse; sisters, Louise Harris, Tyler, and Gail Murphy, Germantown, Tenn.; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Clayton Pinkerton, Robert Pinkerton, Mike Harris, Keith Harris, Grady Stewart and Lee Atkinson.
