Mary Beth O'Neal

Services for Mary Beth O'Neal, 64, of Wichita Falls, formerly of Tyler, were held Jan. 30 at West Erwin Church of Christ with Dr. Jay Lockhart and Ken Holsberry officiating.

Burial was at Cathedral in the Pines under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mrs. O'Neal went to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 27, 2008 in Wichita Falls after a 10- month battle with cancer. Her faith, positive attitude and encouragement were an inspiration to all who knew her.

She was born on Nov. 2, 1943 in Paris to the late Jess Thomas and Samintha Beaver Craig.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jess Thomas Craig, in 1977, and mother, Samintha Beaver Craig, in 1988, and daughter, Kimberly O'Neal Carpenter, in 1998.

She is survived by her husband of 46 1/2 years, Charles O'Neal of Wichita Falls; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Annette O'Neal of Whitehouse; daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Jim Bell of Wichita Falls; brother, Judge Larry Craig of Tyler; sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Bobby Meigs of Houston; mother-in-law, Louise O'Neal of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Patrick, Brandon and Morgan O'Neal, all of Whitehouse, and Katie and Clayton Bell, both of Wichita Falls; and several nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.

Pallbearers were Jack Blaschke, Steve Barr, Gary Halbrooks, Craig Halbrooks, Carter Halbrooks and Jody Meigs.
