Sallie Ann Miles

JACKSONVILLE - Services for Sallie Ann Miles, 51, of Jacksonville were held Jan. 25 at Renfro Memorial Chapel, Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with Pastor Richard Spencer officiating.

Burial was in Gossett Chapel Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Miles died Jan. 21, 2008 at her residence.

She was born Feb. 27, 1956 in Jacksonville to the late Noble and Phyllis Rollins and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a seamstress and a bus driver for Jacksonville and Troup independent school districts. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church, Jacksonville.

Survivors include her husband, Doug Miles, Jacksonville; sons, Bobby Ray Miles, Lake Charles, La., Christopher DeWayne Lynch, Whitehouse, and Aniello Ray Miles, Rusk; daughter, Shirley Ann Nance, Jacksonville; brother, George Rollins, Vermont; sister, Kathy Hoffhines, Alaska; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Bobby Miles, Bobby Nance and members of Fellowship Bible Church.

Honorary pallbearer was Christopher Lynch.
