WH academic team wins sweepstakes

Members of the Whitehouse High School UIL Academic Team won sweepstakes at the first practice meet of the season at North Lamar. Congratulations to the Whitehouse High School UIL Academic Team for beginning their tournament season with a sweepstakes victory on Saturday, Jan. 19. They took first place overall in a field of 42 schools in the North Lamar UIL Tournament in Paris.

Shiv Rawal: first place sophomore, top sophomore in chemistry and biology

Matt Struble: second place junior Corbin Seliga: sixth place senior

Heath Mayo: Top Junior in Physics
