Sweethearts chosen at Winter Formal

First Lady sweethearts announced at the Winter Formal are, left to right, (seated) sophomore sweetheart Sarah Grace Sweeney, junior sweetheart Hannah Lunsford, (standing) senior sweetheart Allyson Fulcher.

The Whitehouse High School First Ladies and Cheerleader sweethearts were announced at the "Evening of Elegance" Winter Formal held Jan. 12. The sweethearts are elected by the drill team and cheerleading squad members.

First Ladies

Sarah-Grace Sweeney was named sophomore sweetheart and is the daughter of Robert and Lisa Sweeney. She is on the all "A" Honor Roll and is a member of the Foreign Language Club. Sarah-Grace is also a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Hannah Lunsford was elected junior sweetheart. She is the daughter of Dale and Marsha Lunsford and was First Lady of the Week. Hannah is member of the National Honor Society, the Foreign Language Club and attended the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine. She is a member of Green Acres Baptist Church where she sings with the Praise Alive Choir and the Alpha Chi Ensemble.

Alyssa Smith

Allyson Fulcher, daughter of David Fulcher and Debbie Fulcher, was named senior sweetheart. She has been voted First Lady of the Week (2006 and 2007), Motivational Squad Leader and Whitehouse High School Student of the Week. She has been on the all "A" and the "A-B" Honor Roll and is member of the National Honor Society, Foreign Language Club, Key Club and the Ambassador Baptist Church Youth Group.

Cheerleaders

Alyssa Smith was voted freshman cheerleader sweetheart. Alyssa has been a cheerleader for two years. The daughter of Craig and Stacy Smith, she is on the "A" Honor Roll and is a member of the Foreign Language Club and the student council.

Korbyn Wilson was selected junior varsity sweetheart. The former freshman sweetheart has been on the "A-B" Honor Roll for two years and a cheerleader for two years. The sophomore daughter of David and Daffoni Jean Wilson, Korbyn has been active in the band and in church.

The varsity cheerleaders chose Paige O'Leary as their sweetheart. Paige has been a cheerleader for four years and a member of the varsity squad for two. The WHS junior is a member of the Foreign Language Club (two years), Drama Club (one year), National Honor Society and the Wildcat Band (six years). The daughter of Merri and Fred Walsh and Tom O'Leary, Paige was an All- American Cheerleader in 2006. She is a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.
