Girls split with Timpson

The eighth grade Lady Tigers earned another win with a dominating performance against Timpson last Thursday. Allie Bowers and Keraveon Rodgers both score 8 points in the 40-5 victory.

Rodgers also came up with 5 steals and committed no turnovers.

Other scorers were Cheyenne Cover with 6 points, Nesha Handy, Gabriel Sewell and Nesha Handy with 4 each, and Amy Hill and Brittany Alfred with 2 each.

Cover was the top rebounder with 8 boards, followed by Taylor Martin with 6.

The seventh grade fell short in a close game, losing 27-24.

Charisma McCowin had 10 points, followed by Hunter Jordan and Wykina Caldwell with 6 each and Amanda Sanford with 2.

Caldwell also had 11 rebounds, while Darnesha Clairborne grabbed 4 steals.
