Taylor Russell inks with Paris Junior College

Playing softball at the collegiate level has always been a life-long dream for senior Taylor Russell, who will have the chance to fulfill that goal at Paris Junior College.
Russell has accepted a full athletic scholarship to play for the Lady Dragons, who compete in Region 14 and are members of the NJCAA Division I .
Russell has played all four years on varsity for WHS where she has earned Utility Player of the Year and honorable mention during that time.
Russell has also played select softball for a number of years for teams such as the Texas Slammers, East Texas Blast and the Paris Thunder. Some of the accomplishments with these teams are: state finalist, state runner-up, multiple state championships, national runner-up and national champion this past summer in Tulsa, Okla.
