LIBRARY HOSTS SOUPER EVENT

The Cameron-J. Jarvis Troup Municipal Library was the place to be Sunday, as the Friends of the Library hosted its popular Souper Sunday fundraiser. A hearty meal of soup, cornbread and dessert was served, with proceeds benefiting the publication of the upcoming Troup history book. The sale of the Souper Sunday meal raised more than $1,200, with additional funds donated directly to the book fund.
