Larry Douglas Tompkins

Services for Larry Douglas Tompkins, 65, of Whitehouse were held Jan. 31 at Lloyd James Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with the Rev. Sherman Mayfield officiating.

Burial was in Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mr. Tompkins died Jan. 28, 2008 in Tyler.

He was born April 7, 1942 in Chandler. He was a contracted plumber and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Tompkins; stepdaughter, Dwana Cheney; and parents, Harvey Sr. and Loutheree Tompkins.

Survivors include sons, Larry Dean Tompkins, Kelly Tompkins and Ronny Dean Ivy; brothers, Bill Tompkins and Harvey Tompkins; sisters, Janie Richardson, Nelda Norris and Pat Thompson; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
