Jullia A. Bryant Kendall

A celebration of the life of Jullia A. Bryant Kendall, 93, of Tyler was held Feb. 5 in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home. Burial was at Bascom Cemetery.

Mrs. Kendall went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 in Tyler. She was born Oct. 5, 1914 in Tyler to the late Jim and Lula Musslewhite Bryant. She has lived in Tyler most of her life, having also lived in Gentry, Ark. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She attended the Tyler Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome H. "Romie" Kendall in 1989; two brothers, J.A. Bryant and Leroy Bryant; two sisters, Frances Fails and Pauline Kendall; and a grandson, Robert Kendall.

Her loving survivors include a son, Steve Kendall of Tyler; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruby and Dean Shafer of Gentry, Ark., and Bertha and Olin Jackson of Tyler; a brother and sister-in-law, Dudley and Joene Bryant of New Chapel Hill; a sister and brotherin law, Lula and Coy York of Troup; 11 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
