Betty Cameron

Betty Cameron, 77, beloved mother, sister and aunt, passed away Jan. 28, 2008 at home in Whitehouse following a short illness. A private family graveside service was held at Whitehouse Cemetery. Burial was under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler.

She was born Sept. 19, 1930 in Navarro County to Obie and Ruby Simpson. She attended school in New London. She resided in Whitehouse since 1955 and retired from United Technologies in 1992.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Obie and Ruby Murphy Simpson, and a sister, Lilly Cagle. She is survived by her son, Michael Cameron and wife Corma of Beaumont; daughter, Linda Spring and husband Stanley of Tyler; nephew, Dean Cagle and wife Brenda of Tyler; grandnephew, Will Cagle and wife Amy of Tyler; and grandniece, Catherine Cagle of Tyler.
