Members of the Troup FFA show team have been busy participating in the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo in Fort Worth. The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is the oldest continuously running livestock show in the nation. The stock show ran from Jan. 11 through Feb 3. The following Troup FFA members exhibited livestock at the show this year: Caleb Lindsey, seventh grade, won first place with his Maine Anjou heifer. Amanda Sanford, seventh grade, took third place her Red Angus heifer. Kody Welch, seventh grade, received fourth place for his Brangus heifer. Casey Sanford, senior, won fourth place with her Red Angus heifer. Curt Lindsey, senior, placed 14th in a class of 70 Simmental Cross Steers.
