TWO IN A ROW
WH captures 2nd straight UIL meet

For the second week in a row, the Whitehouse High School UIL Academic Team has won sweepstakes. Among those contributing to the Lindale Tournament win were, left to right, (front) Andrea Crawford, Caitlin Giddens, Gabby Gesulgon, Keerin Dewet, (middle) Wes Holt, Trent Chudej, Meredith Mohr, Sarah Stewart, (back) Byron Dunlap, Daniel Herrig, Brenna Middleton, Nick Kunzman and Peter Galbraith.
Congratulations to the UIL Academic Team who won their second straight tournament this past weekend. The Whitehouse team won the Lindale Tournament in a field of over 50 schools competing in 21 events

Headline Writing: Stewart, third; Mohr, fifth; Giddens, sixth;

Editorial Writing: Stewart, third; Mohr, sixth.

News Writing: Giddens, second; Mohr, fifth; Stewart, sixth.

Literary Criticism: Gabby Gesulgon, fifth; Gesulgon, Rebecca Stewart, Sara Peymon and Rachel Cook, second place team.

Calculator: Heath Mayo, first; Daniel Herrig, second; Trent Chudej, third.

Math: Herrig, first; Nick Kunzman, sixth;

Number Sense: Herrig, first; Chudez, fourth.

Science: Mayo, first; Wes Holt, fifth.
