Troup girls end year against Arp

Troup's middle school girls teams finished their season hosting Arp Monday.

The seventh-graders won 17-7 to complete a very impressive 8-2 year.

Wykina Caldwell was top scorer with 9 points, followed by Hunter Jordan with 6 and Amanda Sanford with 2.

The seventh grade also beat Tatum on Jan. 31. Caldwell poured in 16 as the Lady Tigers won 27-14.

Jordan added 7, with Darnesha Jiminson and Sanford adding 2 each.

The eighth-graders finished 6-4 with year-end losses to Arp and Tatum.

Keraveon Rodgers had 11 points in both outings to lead her teammates.

Brittany Alfred added 8 against Tatum and 6 against Arp, along with Nesha Handy and Allie Bowers with 6 each.

In the Tatum loss, Caitlyn Renson had 4, followed by Bowers and Handy with 3 and 2.
