Aggie moms meeting Feb. 21
      The Tyler A&M Mothers' Club will be hosting a "Boutique" work night on Thursday, Feb. 21 at Pollard United Methodist Church, 3030 Copeland Rd., at 7 p.m. Boutique, which is the mecca for all things Aggie, is held during Parents Weekend and is one of the main fund-raisers for Aggie scholarships.

Community projects set to fill shelves
First Baptist Church, Brookshire's benefiting Philadelphia Blessing

      The Whitehouse community came out in force during the recent holiday season to fill the shelves of the Philadelphia Blessing food pantry. The tinsel is down and lights put away and the shelves are growing bare. This is a call to the community to help those in need by restocking those shelves.

FFA members compete in San Antonio
      Collins, Dakota Nelson and Danielle Nelson, all from the Whitehouse FFA, recently participated in the broiler competition at the San Antonio Livestock Show. Each of the four Whitehouse representatives raised 75 broiler chickens for six weeks, before choosing the top three birds to compete with.
