      The Whitehouse UIL Academic Team has won their third straight tournament Feb. 1-2. The Whitehouse Team won the Robert E. Lee Tournament Feb. 1-2, competing in a field of more than 40 schools in 21 events.

Student artwork to be on display
      The First Ladies drill team will host their annual Spring Spectacular on Monday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. in Wildcat Arena at Whitehouse High School. The show will feature the routines the drill team is performing this season at various competitions including those held in Austin, Garland and Kilgore.

      Four students from Troup High School have qualified for the UIL state cross examination meet in Austin March 10-15. Charlie Ralph and Zach Davis won second place, and Kayla Bright and Jared Ayres finished fourth at the district meet.
