Little Zion Baptist hosting annual 'Family, Friends Day'

Members of the community are invited to attend the annual Family and Friends Day Sunday, Feb. 17 at Little Zion Baptist Church in Whitehouse.

The all-day event includes the morning service, lunch afterward at approximately 1 p.m., a special service at 3 p.m. and then the regularly scheduled evening service.

Special guest speaker will be the Rev. Donald Hampton of New Hope Bullard Baptist Church.

The scheduled program will also include guest choirs and groups from the Upper Door Post Church, Bethel Temple Community Church, New Hope Bullard, Browning Memorial IME Church, New Canaan Baptist Church, Antioch Baptist Church, Whitehouse Church of God in Christ, Mt. Elem Baptist Church and New Bethel Baptist Church.

Little Zion Baptist Church is located on FM 848. The Rev. Lennon Brown is pastor and the Rev. Carnell Beasley, associate pastor.
