Lady Eagles clip Whitehouse

Whitehouse came out shooting early in the game and continued to pound the goal but the Ladycats could not find the back of the net. Whitehouse had 14 shots on goal to Lindale's 5.

Brittany Gonzalez scored the first goal for Whitehouse unassisted. Her goal was answered by Lindale. The half ended with Charity Shipman's goal unassisted, leaving Whitehouse behind at the half 2-1.

The second half started with Lindale scoring early with a corner kick by Maddie Fraizer. Whitehouse responded quickly with a corner by Heather Lofites who found Lindsey Pritchard's head for Whitehouse's second goal.

Whitehouse continued to pummel the goal with 14 shots to Lindale's 7, but the Ladycats could not hit the back of the nets. Whitehouse lost their first district game, 3-2. They are now 10- 2 overall with a 7-1 district record.

They play again on Friday night at Marshall at 7p.m. The JV downed the Lady Eagles 2-0, securing a 5-1 district mark. Danielle Sillman and Megan Perry scored for WH.
