Lindale blanks boys, 2-0

Lindale scored its first goal off a free kick with 22:02 remaining in the half and a second goal with four minutes remaining in the game to secure a 2-0 win over Whitehouse.

Despite losing the Cats played well. They were also missing senior captain Mitchell Muller who is out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

The Cats district record is now 3-4-1. They play again at home Friday, taking on Marshall at 7 p.m.

In the junior varsity game, Whitehouse won 1-0 with a goal scored by Danny Bender.
