Wildcat JV closes in on district title

The Whitehouse JV boys' basketball team rolled through last week in search of another district title as they defeated Henderson and Marshall at Wildcat Arena.

In the Henderson game, Justin Keller and Judd Jackson led the way in scoring with 11 points each in a 55-26 win. Drew Flynn followed with 8 while John Clardy added 6.

The Marshall game turned into a blow out early as the Wildcats led 32-13 at the half and then cruised to a 69-25 win.

Keller had a huge night leading the way with 27 points followed by Flynn with 18, including 4 three pointers.

Jackson poured in 10 while Jace Ainsworth added 8 in the win.

The two district wins move the Wildcats' record to 12-1 for the district season and puts them in position to claim the title Tuesday night in Nacogdoches.
