Lauren Youngblood graduated from East Texas Baptist University with the fall 2007 class. Youngblood received her bachelor's degree in elementary education and a specialization in church ministry. She is a 2003 graduate of Whitehouse High School and the daughter of Steve and Linda Youngblood. While she attended college she worked as a tutor at Marshall High School's Achievement Center and as a camp counselor for Carolina Creek Christian Camp.
After mission trips to China and Peru, Lauren Youngblood is now in North Africa were she is teaching English.
