Cats to face Terrell Friday

The Wildcats will battle the Tigers Friday as #3 Whitehouse meets Terrell. The area playoff game will be 7:30 p.m. in Canton, with Whitehouse as the home side. Tickets are $5 adults, $3 students.

"Terrell is very athletic and very quick. They really make it tough on you offensively because of their length and quick reactions to the ball," said head coach Wally Dawkins. "It will be a tough game for us and a real test. They are a quality team, and they are well coached."

Whitehouse (27-1) received a bye in the first round of playoff action; Terrell (22-13) advanced with a win over The Colony Tuesday, 58-44.

"Offensively, they can score quickly and from anywhere," added Dawkins, citing a 61-point performance by Antwain Thomas, including 14 three-pointers, in a playoff game last year. Dawkins also said the Tigers were tough inside thanks to 6'4 post Bedarious Collier.
