Cats continue state run

Photo/Jim Jackson Bart Henderson leaves the Richardson Pearce defenders helpless as he takes a steal to the basket in Tuesday night's 69-48 area win for Whitehouse.

The Cat used a big fourth quarter to seal a 69-48 win in Mabank.

Cade Clark led the way with a game-high 23 points and four rebounds. Jacob Holmen had 15 points, four rebounds and five blocks.

"A great team ef for t tonight," said head coach Wally Dawkins. "I am really proud of our kids."

"This was our first goal at the start of the season was to get to the regional tournament. Now we look forward to reaching our next goal and that is to get to Austin and the state tournament."

The Cats will next face Dallas South Oak Cliff at 6 p.m. Friday in the Garland Special Events Center.

The Cats advanced to face Richardson Pearce by defeating Terrell last Friday in the round of area.
