Raabe opens year with Dallas title
      Whitehouse's Sydney Raabe had a fine showing at the first Dallas Dressage show of the season on Feb. 23. Raabe and her pony Glory Bound were named Junior Rider Highpoint Champion. She was also undefeated in all of her classes.

Malik strikes ace
      Jimmy Malik struck a hole in one at Hilltop Country Club on Feb. 20. Malik hit the 135-yard ace on hole 17 using a nine iron. Witnesses were Chipper Hugghins, Jack Langston, Gary Bostic and Adrien McGlaun.

      The Whitehouse varsity baseball team pulled out a tough extra inning win last Tuesday defeating Longview on the road 8-7 in 8 innings. The Wildcats pounded out 12 hits as compared to 8 for the Lobos to back winning pitcher, Grant Brandon.

      After a 30-minute delay due to lightning, Whitehouse came out shooting and had 23 shots to 0 against Chapel Hill. The first score of the game came from a corner kick placed by Kelli Hill to the feet of Lindsay Pritchard for the goal.

Wildcats finish 2nd in Classic
      The Whitehouse varsity baseball team hosted its annual spring classic last weekend and ended up with the second place trophy falling to the tourney champs from Central Heights. In the opening game on Thursday, Whitehouse defeated Paris 8-1 with Taylor Peterson earning the win on the hill.

Cats reach milestone; ready for next year
