Bob Don Hemby

Services for Bob Don Hemby, 72, of Troup were held March 3, at the Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup, with the Reverend Doctor Ron Klingsick officiating. Burial was in the Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup.

Mr. Hemby died March 1 at his residence. He was born May 25, 1935 in Troup to the late George Ervin Hemby and Fannie Lorene Gee Hemby. He was a lifetime resident of Troup and was a graduate of Troup High School.

Mr. Hemby was a farmer, rancher and truck driver. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Louise Mills, Ruth Campbell, and Helen Stout.

Survivors include a son, Bobby Earl Hemby, Austin; a daughter, Susie Leigh Bray, Austin; a brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Leota Hemby, Red Rock; a sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Jake Florence, Arp; and numerous nieces and nephews.
