Clyde V. Braly

JACKSONVILLE - Services for Clyde V. "Pete" Braly, 84, Humble, formerly of Jacksonville, were held March 1 at Renfro Memorial Chapel, Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with the Rev. Eric Story officiating.

Burial with military honors was in Mixon Cemetery.

Mr. Braly died Feb. 27, 2008 in a Houston hospital.

He was born July 1, 1923 in Mixon to the late Samuel Emmitt and Annie Braly. He served in the Army during World War II and lived in Jacksonville until moving to Humble about 20 years ago. He was a Baptist and former employee of Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville and Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby L. Braly, Humble; daughter, Gwenn Woolsey, Humble; sisters, Fay Ites, Houston, Eura Mae Clyborn, Tyler, Wanda Weigman, Troup, and Virginia Spell, Humble; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
