Jess Stone
HENDERSON - Services for Jess Stone, 99, of Bossier City, La., formerly of Henderson, were held March 3 at Crawford- Crim & Bryan Funeral Home, Henderson, with the Rev. Glen Ketchum officiating. Burial was in Strong Cemetery.

Mr. Stone died Feb. 28, 2008 in Bossier City.

He was born Jan. 26, 1909 in Cleveland, Tenn., to the late John Edward and Myrtle Beene Stone. He lived in Fort Sumner, N.M., where he farmed in the Pecos Valley. He moved to Bossier City in 1979. He attended the Assembly of God.

His wife of 67 years, Lillian Bryant Stone, preceded him in death.

Among his sur vivors is daughter Evelyn Nutt, Whitehouse.
