WH girls outshoot Chapel Hill

After a 30-minute delay due to lightning, Whitehouse came out shooting and had 23 shots to 0 against Chapel Hill.

The first score of the game came from a corner kick placed by Kelli Hill to the feet of Lindsay Pritchard for the goal.

Brittany Millican sent the ball 40 yards to Pritchard who shot and hit the back of the net for the second score.

Pritchard crossed the ball to Brittany Gonzalez for a quick score. Gonzalez returned the favor by assisting Prichard for the final goal of the half, giving Whitehouse the 4-0 lead.

The second half was more of the same, although Chapel Hill did get five shots on Whitehouse's goal. All were saved by Carley Page who earned the shutout.

Goals for the second half were by Hill with an assist by Pritchard and Elise Dollahite with an assist by Elissa Parker. The game was called with seven and a half minutes left due to lightning.

The final score was 6-0 for the Ladycats. Whitehouse travels to Athens Friday. The Ladycats are 11-2 in district and 14-3 overall.

The Ladycat JV also won, 1- 0, with a goal by Megan Perry.
