Hornets slip by Wildcats

The Wildcats wasted little time in their last home game of the year, scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes of the game.

Julio Alleman scored the first with an assist from Ivan Perez. The second score came from an on-goal with the assist going to Perez.

The Athens Hornets closed out the half with two goals of their own for the 2-2 halftime score.

The game would remain tied until with 12:25 remaining in the game, Athens received a penalty kick which they made to give them the 3-2 win.

The Cats play their final game Friday in Lindale at 7 p.m.
