Ladycats record 2 shutouts

Whitehouse improved its district record to 13-2 with shutouts of Athens and Hallsville last week.

The Ladycats will host district rival Lindale Friday on senior night.

Playing Athens on Friday, the Ladycat scoring barrage was led by Lindsay Pritchard with three goals.

Brittany Gonzalez, Kristina Heinrich, Kelli Hill, Brittany Millican, Elisa Parker and Kayla Zambrano each added single goals in the 9-0 rout.

Hill (2), Gonzalez, Pritchard, Mallory Smith, Elise Dollahite and Kayla Mason all had assists in the victory.

Taking on Hallsville the next day, the Ladycats kept the scoring pressure on, blanking the Lady Bobcats 5-0.

Pritchard led the way with two goals, while Hill, Gonzalez and Megan Perry each scored goals.

Hill's goal came on a penalty kick, while Gonzalez's goal was assisted by Kristina Heinrich. Perry's goal was assisted by Parker.

Gonzalez and Perry assisted on Prichard's goals.

Carley Page was in goal for Whitehouse and leading the defense were Millican (stopper), Dollahite (defender), Mason (sweeper) and Ashlee Langley (left defender).

The LadyCats play host to Lindale Friday at Wildcat Stadium. The contest has a 7 p.m. start.
