TISD board to consider FFA trip, new vehicles

Troup school board members will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday in the Administration Building at 201 N. Carolina.

The meeting was rescheduled from the board's regular meeting schedule of the second Monday of the month.

In addition to written and administrative reports, the presentation of students and teacher of the month is scheduled.

Agenda items scheduled for discussion and possible approval include:

-- FFA educational field trip;

-- resolution authorizing the president of the board of trustees to approve the bid for sale of struck-off property;

-- advertising for proposals for a new bus for the 2008-09 school year, a new eight-passenger vehicle and a new threequarter ton crew cab truck;

-- advertising for proposals for re-roofing projects at the elementary campus.

Administrative reports will include an update on the softball complex and the trustee election.

Board members will also consider consent agenda items.
