BCXR riders qualify for trip to national championships
      On March 14 four riders from BCXR Horse Center LLC in Troup traveled to Kosse to compete in the Meadow Creek Horse Trials. The big winner of the weekend was Alison Hardaway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Hardaway of Whitehouse, riding the horse On Top of the World.

Ladycats rout Lindale; to face Jasper tonight
      Whitehouse isn't used to finishing anywhere but first in district when it comes to girls soccer; despite that disappointment this season, the Ladycats clinched second place with an 8-0 thrashing of first-place Lindale last Friday.

      The Cats played their final game of the season in Lindale Friday night. Wildcat JV splits games in tourney
      The Whitehouse JV was inaction this past weekend as they played host, along with Kilgore, to the preseason district tournament. The tournament was played at both locations in a round robin format in order to help each school get in more games.

      Troup's baseball and softball squads had a good night Monday as they both came away with decisive district wins over Timpson. Langston records ace
      Les Langston struck a hole in one at Hilltop Country Cub on Sunday, March 16. Langston struck the ace on number 17 (125 yards, par 3) using a seven iron. This was Langston's 13th career ace. Witnesses were Ron Welch, Pat Moore and Will Langston.

      Jeff Keith and Jason Grubbs finished first in the championship flight at Hilltop Country Club's two-man scramble March 15-16. Show team earns blue, red ribbons
      Recently the Whitehouse ag mechanics team returned from out of town competitions in Houston and San Angelo. The traveling show team consists of five students: seniors Kyle Casey, Chris Voudrie, Ben Edwards and Allen Stone, and sophomore Dakota Nelson.
