Tyler Flower Market set for March 28-29

Tyler's signature azaleas and roses, along with bedding and landscaping plants, flowering trees, yard art, pottery, birdhouses and more will be offered at the 2nd Annual Main Street Flower Market on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 during the 49th Annual Azalea and Spring Flower Trail.

The Flower Market, which is being organized by the Heart of Tyler Main Street Program will be at the historic setting of Tyler's Goodman Museum LeGrand Gardens, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The Goodman Museum is located at 624 N. Broadway Ave.

Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase many beautiful items for their yard from vendors whose displays will be featured in the front portion of the Goodman lawn.

Among the vendors will be Benches and Birdhouses, Bob Wells Nursery, Cindy the Potter, East Texas Orchid Society, Green Mountain Energy, Kimbrew-Walter Roses, L&R Marketing (wind chimes), Pottery by Sherry, R&T Quality Nursery, Ravensworth Landscaping and Design and the Smith County Master Gardeners, who will be selling roses and bedding plants.

Keep Tyler Beautiful will be at the Flower Market to explain the LeGrand Gardens renovation plan, while the Discovery Science Place will be on hand to help children make birdhouses and learn about planting. The Azalea Belles and Chick-Fil-A cows will be at the Flower Market on Saturday for photo opportunities.
