Eunice Willa Bagwell
Burial was in the Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup, under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home Troup. Mrs. Bagwell died March 14, in Tyler. She was born April 6, 1917 in Crockett to the late Charles W. and Belle McRae Bowdoin. She was a graduate of Porter Springs High School near Crockett. Mrs. Bagwell was a resident of Houston for 47 years. She retired in 1975 following 20 years of employment with the Pasadena Independent School District. She was a member of the Austin Avenue Baptist Church, Pasadena, and attended the First Baptist Church, Troup. She married Boyd Bagwell in Crockett, March 12, 1937. He preceded her in death January 1, 1988. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Bagwell and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mack and Noreda Bagwell, Pasadena; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Bill Plunkett and Donna and Glenn Vessels, all of Troup; a sister, Eura Brown, Crockett; seven grandchildren, Tammey Goodner, Greg Bagwell, Jennifer Peveto, Kristi Plunkett, Julie Flora, Stephen Vessels, and Michael Pate; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Frizzell, Craig Reagan, Michael Brown, Troy Brown, Norvle Brown and Oscar Allen.
