Pat Pearce

Pat Pearce was born on Oct. 17, 1928 in Paducah to the late Nathan and Eva Gray. She passed away peacefully at East Texas Medical Center in Jacksonville on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the age of 79.

She worked in the insurance departments of DeHaven Eye Clinic and Heaton Eye Associates in Tyler and was a member of Hill Creek Baptist Church. Following her retirement, she volunteered at Mother Frances Hospital as a pink lady.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hansel G. Pearce, in 1999 and brothers Wes and Pusso Gray.

She is survived by her loving family, including her two sons, Mike Pearce of Jacksonville, Randy Pearce and wife Jaquin of LaRue; grandchildren, Chad, Justin, Brent and Stephanie Pearce; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Pat were held March 19 at Hill Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Mack Peacock officiating. Entombment followed at Cathedral in the Pines under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers were Chad Pearce, Justin Pearce, Brent Pearce, Joe Bob Gray, Bill Gray and Ed Gray.
